Shrimp Fried Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. peanut oil
2 c. chopped onion
1/2 (3 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
1 can water chestnuts, slivered
2 c. cooked rice (use 1 c. rice, and cook according to pkg. directions)
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 c. cooked shrimp, chopped
1 to 2 Tbsp. green onion for garnish
Preparation

Heat frying pan or wok, add oil and cook onions until golden brown.
Add mushrooms and water chestnuts and cook one minute. Stir in cold rice, mix well and cook an additional 2 minutes.
Add sugar, eggs, soy sauce and shrimp.
Cook until heated through and golden brown in color.
Garnish with chopped green onions.
