Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 scant c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. cake flour
    4 eggs, separated
    1 c. sweet milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. each vanilla, lemon and almond extract
Preparation
    Have all ingredients at room temperature.
    Cream butter and sugar and then add well beaten egg yolks and mix well.
    Sift flour and then measure and sift again with baking powder.
    Mix vanilla and lemon and almond extracts in the milk and add alternately with dry ingredients.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake 50 to 55 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
