Coffee Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    6 c. sifted flour
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 c. melted butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Place milk, sugar and shortening in saucepan.
    Scald milk. Remove from heat. Add salt and cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in two tablespoons warm water and add to mixture.
    Beat in flour and knead.
    Let rise to double bulk and knead again.
