Low Country Boil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. medium or large shrimp (25 to 35 lb. or 45 to 55 lb.)
    2 lb. beef or pork sausage
    2 to 4 c. beer or water
    chunks fresh green corn on cob (6 to 10 pieces)
    2 green peppers
    1 stalk celery
    1/2 c. Tabasco or hot sauce
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. seafood seasoning
    chunks white potatoes (optional)
Preparation
    Mix 1/4 cup
    Tabasco
    sauce,
    1
    tablespoon
    salt and 2 teaspoons seafood seasoning
    in a large bowl or pan.
    Marinate fresh shrimp in the
    mixture for 30 to 45 minutes.\tCut onions in rings and let
    boil
    in
    water
    or\tbeer for 5 minutes, cut sausage in chunks and bring to a boil, let simmer until juices permeates from
    sausage
    and
    remaining
    seasoning, celery and green pepper, simmer for 5 minutes, add corn, then shrimp, let simmer for 10
    to
    15 minutes occasionally stirring to be sure all shrimp and pieces
    of
    corn have been immersed in boil for at least 5
    minutes.
    Place
    on
    platter
    and\tserve with your favorite seafood sauce.
    Serves 6 to 10 people.
