Butchertown Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 lb. raisins
    2 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs (add vanilla in eggs to mix better)
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    You also need 6 gold lined No. 3 tin cans.
