Cherry Jubilee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
1/2 lb. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 (20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 pt. whipping cream or whipped topping
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add extract.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Continue to cream until light.
Add lemon juice.
Place 1/2 of crumbs in the bottom of an 9-inch square pan.
Spread mixture on top.
Add cherry pie filling.
Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle rest of crumbs on top.
Refrigerate; cut into squares.
