Dessert Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown or white sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. each: allspice, cloves and salt
    1 tsp. each: soda and baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter, add sugar and beat until light.
    Add molasses, milk and egg.
    Mix and sift dry ingredients and add them to the first mixture.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0).
    Top with whipped cream.
