Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup margarine
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3 tablespoons milk
    2 ripe, really ripe (turning brown) bananas
    1/2 cup nuts, optional
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Grease bread pan.
    Sift together first three ingredients, set aside.
    In a large bowl, gradually cream margarine and sugar together until fluffy.
    Add eggs and milk.
    Alternately add bananas and dry ingredients to margarine and sugar mixture.
    Mix thoroughly after each addition.
    Add nuts, if desired.
    Bake for one hour or until a toothpick, when inserted into middle of loaf, comes out clean.
    Cool on wire rack.
