My Grandmother'S Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. molasses
sugar for dipping
Preparation

Measure flour, soda, ginger, salt and cinnamon.
Cream Crisco until soft.
Gradually add sugar, creaming after each addition, until light and fluffy.
Blend in egg and molasses.
Add flour mixture.
Form teaspoons of soft dough into small balls by rolling them lightly between palms, then roll dough balls in sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
