Batter-Fried Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. whole mushrooms
    1 c. flat beer
    1 c. flour
    1 beaten egg
    light oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Wipe mushrooms with damp cloth.
    In a medium bowl, combine beer, flour and egg.
    Dip mushrooms in batter.
    Fry in very hot oil, turning with tongs until evenly browned.
    Drain on paper towels.
