Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie crust (9-inch)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/8 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine until soft.
    Gradually add sugar, creaming until fluffy after each addition.
    Add eggs in thirds, blending well.
    Thoroughly blend in corn syrup and salt.
    Add chopped nuts and turn into pastry shell.
    Arrange pecan halves on top.
