Nancy'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams, undrained
    1 small onion, chopped
    4 medium potatoes, finely diced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    4 c. skim canned milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except milk and cornstarch in Dutch oven.
    Bring to boil, then reduce to simmer until potatoes are tender.
    Mix cornstarch with cold water until dissolved.
    Pour into clam mixture.
    Add milk.
    Simmer until thickened, stirring often.
    (Do not boil.)
    Serve immediately.
