Puppy Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (18 oz.) box Golden Grahams cereal
1 (15 oz.) box golden raisins
1 (12 oz.) can can mixed nuts
more cashews (if desired)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. margarine
1 (12 oz.) jar creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Preparation

In a very large bowl, combine cereal, raisins and nuts.
Melt together chocolate chips, margarine and peanut butter.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour over cereal mixture.
Stir to coat.
Pour powdered sugar into a large unscented kitchen trash bag.
add the cereal mixture and shake to coat evenly.
Makes 5 1/2 quarts.
