Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium or 3 large sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and cut into 2 inch slices.
    Combine butter, sugar and water in an electric skillet.
    Add sweet potatoes.
    Cover and simmer at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done, turning frequently. Makes about 4 servings.
