Pineapple Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple in its own juice
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Alternately add dry ingredients and orange concentrate to creamed mixture; mix well after each addition.
    Stir in pineapple and nuts.
    Turn into 2 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Remove from pans.
    Cool on rack.
    Makes 2 loaves.
