1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 (6 oz.) white baking bars
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl, beat shortening, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off.
