Deluxe Fajita Nachos - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. shredded, cooked chicken or 1 1/4 lb. lean cooked ground beef
1 pkg. (1.27 oz.) spices and seasonings for fajitas (I use Lawry's)
salsa
1/3 c. water
8 oz. tortilla chips
1 1/4 c. (5 oz.) grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. (4 oz.) grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 large tomato, chopped
1 can (2 1/4 oz.) sliced olives
1/4 c. sliced green onions
Preparation

In medium skillet, combine meat, spices and seasonings for fajitas and water; blend well.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
In large shallow ovenproof platter, arrange chips.
Top with meat and cheese.
Place under broiler to melt cheeses.
Top with tomato, olives, green onions and desired amount of salsa.
Makes 4 appetizers or 2 main dishes.
