Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken in 2-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1 qt. spaghetti sauce
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and egg.
    Cook spaghetti and drain and put spaghetti with preceding mix and toss to coat well.
    Spread evenly in 13 x 9-inch pan. Brown meat in large pan, adding onion, pepper and garlic.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in sauce, sugar and oregano.
    Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti layer.
    Top with meat mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese and bake another ten minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
    Serves 8 to 10.
