Sensibly Delicious Double Chocolate Chip Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 Tbsp. margarine
3 egg whites
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips, sugar, applesauce and margarine in large heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add egg whites, stir well.
Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla.
Stir in 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread into greased 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set at 350\u00b0.
Cool completely.
(Use 9 x 13-inch pan for double recipe and bake 35 to 40 minutes.)
