Lemon Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 lb. oleo or butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 lb. white raisins
    4 c. chopped pecans (1 lb.)
    6 eggs
    2 oz. pure lemon extract
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix flour, raisins, pecans, salt and baking powder in a bag and shake.
    Cream egg yolks, butter and sugar.
    Add this to the flour mixture and beat.
    Fold in beaten egg whites and lemon extract mixture.
    Use loaf pans.
    This makes 2 medium size or 1 angel food pan.
    Bake at 300` for 1 1/2 hours.
