Betsy'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    1 Tbsp. chicken base seasoning or 4 chicken bouillon
    2 cans Cheddar cheese soup
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. margarine
    2 c. half and half cream
    2 1/2 lb. potatoes, cubed
Preparation
    Bring water to boil; put potatoes in and chicken seasoning, pepper and salt.
    Cook until 1/2 tender.
    Add soup, simmer for 10 minutes.
    While simmering, melt margarine; add flour to butter to make paste.
    Add to potatoes.
    Add milk; heat to serving temperature.
    Do not boil.
