Frig (Sweet) Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. canning salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
    4 large onions
    1 gal. cucumbers
Preparation
    Bring to a boil.
    Put in gallon jugs and put in refrigerator. Ready to eat in 2 to 3 days.
