Grandma Stillman'S Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sour milk
    1/8 c. melted butter
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar, egg, sour milk and baking soda.
    To this mixture, add sifted flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir only until well blended.
    Pour batter into greased or buttered small loaf pans (2 x 2 1/2 x 6-inch).
    Sprinkle top of each loaf with a cinnamon/sugar mixture.
    Press pecan halves onto surface of loaves.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 small loaves.
