Candied Pineapple - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple slices
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
Preparation

Combine in 3-quart dish sugar, 1/3 cup pineapple juice reserved from drained pineapple slices and light corn syrup. Arrange 5 pineapple slices in single layer over sugar mixture and microwave on High (100%) 8 to 12 minutes or until sugar dissolves and slices are glossy and transparent at edges, turning over and rearranging every 4 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack where they will become more transparent while standing.
