Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. yellow cornmeal
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift together flour, salt and soda.
Stir in cornmeal.
Add eggs and buttermilk and heat until lumps are gone.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each cake onto lightly greased, hot griddle.
Bake until golden brown on both sides.
