Shrimp Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 c. grated cheese
    3/4 c. cooked shrimp, cut in pieces
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil with butter, add flour all at once, stirring well until mixture leaves the side of saucepan.
    Remove from heat and add well beaten eggs, stir until smooth and thick. Stir in shrimp and cheese.
    Drop by small spoonfuls into shallow hot fat.
    Brown on both sides.
    Serves 6.
    May double recipe.
