Dilly Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. cottage cheese
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. minced onion
2 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. melted butter
1 unbeaten egg
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Preparation

Soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.
Put cottage cheese in a large mixing bowl along with sugar, minced onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and softened yeast. Mix.
Slowly stir in flour to form a stiff dough. Let dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in bulk, about 50 to 60 minutes.
Stir dough down.
