Strawberry Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
    10 oz. pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream or 1 large Cool Whip
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 small angel food cake, torn in small pieces
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Stir in sugar and strawberries.
    Cool until mixture begins to thicken.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Cover bottom of 8 x 10-inch pan with half of mixture, then layer of cake pieces.
    Top with remaining mixture.
    Refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours or until set.
