London Broil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. flank steak (scored in crisscross)
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black whole peppercorns
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 c. dry red wine
Preparation
    Make marinade of wine, olive oil, garlic, salt, peppercorns, mustard and thyme.
    Cut away fat and score meat cross-wise
    on both
    sides.
    In
    large container, pour the marinade over
    steak. Cover
    and
    refrigerate
    for 2 hours (preferably overnight), turn
    occasionally.
    Before
    cooking, drain
    and retain
    marinade. Press
    peppercorns
    into scored steak.
    Let stand
    30 minutes, season with salt.
