Nut Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. chopped salted peanuts or pecans, toasted
    sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream first 3 ingredients and 1 tablespoon water.
    Stir in flour and nuts; mix well.
    Shape into crescents.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cool on a rack; roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes 60 crescents.
