Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes (9 qt. juice)
    3 lb. onion, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 c. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. basil leaves
    4 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
    4 pods sweet pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Cook tomatoes and make juice.
    Mix all ingredients and cook 1 hour.
    Yield: 22 pints or 11 quarts.
