Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    cabbage
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cabbage.
    Trim off thickest part of stem from 12 cabbage leaves.
    Divide meat into 12 portions; wrap each in a leaf and fasten with wooden picks.
    Brown cabbage rolls in oil.
    Add contents of 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce and 1/4 cup water.
    Cover and cook slowly, about 45 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings at 315 calories per serving.
