Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    3 eggs
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can creamed corn
    1 or 2 pods jalapeno peppers, chopped or 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
Preparation
    If using jalapeno, chop fine and remove seeds.
