Banana Split Snack Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. (2 medium) bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose or unbleached flour
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream margarine, sugar and eggs.
Stir in buttermilk, bananas and vanilla, mixing well.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Stir in flour, oats, soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in chips.
Spread batter in prepared pan.
Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Serves 12.
