Candy Cane Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Basic Batch
    1/2 c. candy cane pieces (1/4 x 1/4-inch)
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    red and green decorator sugar sprinkles
Preparation
    Mix together Basic Batch and candy pieces.
    Beat egg with milk.
    Add to dry mixture; blend well.
    Knead dough slightly with hands to fully mix.
    Drop by teaspoons, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle with decorator sugar or candy pieces.
    Cool slightly before removing from sheet.
    Yields 2 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
