Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 c. instant potatoes
    2 c. water
    1 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 to 6 slices cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion.
    Drain well.
    Bring water, milk, salt and pepper to a boil; add instant potatoes.
    Stir with a fork.
    Mix potatoes and ground beef together.
    Place in baking dish.
    Cover with cheese slices.
    Lightly brown cheese in oven.
