Lore'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. dark corn syrup
    8 eggs, slightly beaten
    8 Tbsp. butter (1 stick melted)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecan meats, coarsely broken
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/3 c. rum
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Line 10-inch pie plate with pastry.
    Boil sugar and syrup together for about 2 minutes.
    Pour slowly over slightly beaten eggs, stirring vigorously.
    Add butter, vanilla, rum, salt and nut meats.
    Pour into unbaked pastry-lined pie plate.
    Bake in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 until golden brown.
