Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c. milk
2 c. blackberries
2 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation

In 4
quart
casserole,
cream\tthe
following:
sugar, butter, flour,
salt,
baking
powder and milk.
Stir well and then pour
in blackberries.
Add boiling water.
Place in oven and cook at
350\u00b0 until golden brown.
Serve hot, spooning the berries and juice from bottom over the top.
