Pot Roast Of Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. rump roast
    salt or seasoned meat tenderizer
    pepper
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Rub salt and pepper into beef.
    Brown on all sides with vegetable oil in heavy roaster.
    Add 1/2 cup of water.
    Cover tightly.
    Simmer until tender, about 3 hours.
    Turn occasionally. Vegetables (carrots and potatoes) may be added during last hour of cooking roast.
