Garbanzo Spread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can garbanzos (chickpeas) and juice
1/2 c. raw cashews
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
1 onion (optional, Vidalia is best), chopped
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except onion, in blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into bowl and add chopped onion.
Refrigerate until ready to serve on bread or crackers.
