Chocolate Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    With electric beater, mix until very stiff the egg whites, sugar, vanilla, salt and cream of tartar.
    Fold in the pecans. Grease a 9-inch pie pan. Turn mixture into pan, forming a nest on bottom and up on sides. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 55 minutes. Cool.
