Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. elbow macaroni
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 c. shredded processed or Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package directions.
    Drain and place in two-quart microwave casserole.
    Set aside.
    Place butter in four cup measure.
    Microwave for one minute or until melted.
    Stir in flour until blended.
    Pour milk into two cup glass measure and cook in microwave for three minutes.
    Stir in flour-butter mixture. Cook six to eight minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently. Add salt and onion.
    Add cheese; stir until melted.
    Pour over macaroni.
    Blend well.
    Serve immediately.
