Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 or 1/3 c. butter or oil
    1/2 or 1/3 c. flour
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 c. low-fat milk
    2 c. water
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 turkey ham, diced
    8 medium or 6 large potatoes, diced
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat and add flour gradually.
    Stir until no longer lumpy.
    Add next 6 ingredients gradually, stirring. Stir until no lumps are left; salt and pepper to taste.
    Stir until it comes to a boil, then lower heat.
    Cover and let it simmer until the potatoes are done.
    Makes 12 servings; 190 calories and 2 grams fat.
