Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Sift salt, flour and baking powder together. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add vanilla, milk and dry ingredients.
    Blend well.
    Place dough on lightly floured board. Sprinkle a little flour over the dough and roll to about 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut with cookie cutter.
    Place on cookie sheet and bake in a moderate 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
