Rice Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice
    2 large onions, chopped finely
    salt and pepper
    1 lb. Owens sausage (hot)
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 large bell pepper, chopped finely
    1 c. celery, chopped finely
    1 can chicken broth
    1 lb. Owens sausage (mild)
    1 c. sliced green onions
Preparation
    Brown all meat in large Dutch oven.
    Pour off grease.
    Salt and pepper meat.
    Add celery, onion and bell pepper and cook until vegetables soften.
    Add chicken broth and cook about 45 minutes, until almost dried out but still moist.
    Remove from heat.
    Add cooked rice and mix well.
    Add raw green onions and mix well. Serve hot.
