Buttermilk Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. apricot Jell-O
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine
    Jell-O,
    pineapple and sugar.
    Heat in a large saucepan
    on
    low heat until Jell-O is melted, stirring often. Put aside
    and let cool.
    Then add buttermilk and fold in Cool Whip good.
    Put in a 10 x 12 x 2-inch deep pan and refrigerate until Jell-O
    is
    set.
    If you like, add 1 cup of pecans after you put in Cool Whip.
