Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. milk
    6 apples, peeled and cored
    sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in shortening; add milk and mix to a smooth dough.
    Divide into six pieces.
    Roll. Place apple on each piece; fill with cinnamon and sugar.
    Wrap and fold.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
