Corn Bread You Will Like - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    6 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1/4 lb. bacon (about 7 slices), cooked crisp and crumbled
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 c. seeded and finely chopped jalapeno peppers for peppy bread or chopped green peppers
    1/2 c. finely chopped onions
    3 slightly beaten eggs
    1/4 c. drained pimientos
    1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    In another bowl combine the remaining ingredients.
    Add all this to cornmeal mixture.
    Pour into greased baking pan (13 x 9-inch).
    Bake at 425\u00b0 about 30 or 35 minutes.
    Serve warm.
