Beef Oriental(Leftovers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cut cooked beef, cut into strips
    1 c. beef broth
    1 fresh clove garlic or garlic powder
    3/4 c. diagonally sliced celery
    1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
    2 to 3 tsp. soy sauce
    1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained or fresh
    1 pkg. (6 oz.) frozen pea pods, thawed
    2 Tbsp. cold water or white wine
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Combine beef and broth in a large skillet; simmer about 2 minutes.
    Add celery, onion and soy sauce; cook, covered about 5 minutes.
    Add mushrooms and pea pods.
    Combine water and cornstarch; add to meat mixture and toss gently.
    Cook until thickened.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 2 to 3 servings.
