Baked German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. (7 large) red potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. hot water
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground pepper
    2/3 c. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender.
    Peel, slice and place in a 2-quart greased casserole dish.
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Reserve 1/4 cup drippings and set bacon aside.
    Add onions to drippings. Cook about 5 minutes.
    Add flour; cook 2 minutes.
    Whisk in water, vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper.
    Cook until thickened. Add bacon.
    Pour over potatoes and stir gently.
    Top with cheese. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
